Parents, Guardians and everyone in the BAM family, welcome to Flipgrid! 💚
Flipgrid is a free video discussion platform from Microsoft that helps millions of educators across the world better engage with and hear from their learners. To use Flipgrid, BAM will be posting discussion prompts and our youth learners respond, anytime and anywhere, with short videos.
Flipgrid is the perfect way to keep our youth engaged and sharing their learning at home. Your learner will have fun creating videos that express their creativity when responding to prompts within your private Flipgrid environment.
HOW TO GET STARTED
Students do NOT need to create Educator accounts.
Step 1: Enter the Flip Code
You can go to www.flipgrid.com on a computer. We recommend using Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome for the best experience. On mobile devices, download the free Flipgrid app for iOS and Android devices. For easy access to Flipgrid, download the Flipgrid extension!
Your Flip Code is provided by us determined by mentor level. Your parent has to consent for your participation first by contacting Emily Cruse (ecruse@beamentornow.org). Contact Emily Cruse if you forget your Flip Code.
Step 2: Sign in to the Grid
