Be A Mentor provides mentoring opportunities in elementary, middle, and high schools throughout the Lowcountry. We currently serve 23 schools in 3school districts (see map below).
Mentors must be at least 21 years old, successfully pass a background check and complete a mentor orientation training before eligible to volunteer in schools.
We strive to match all students in the greater Charleston area with a caring adult mentor. Through program collaboration and community support, we will find the right mentoring match for you!
Registration is closed for the remainder of the school year. Please sign up to be a mentor in the 2020-2021 school year with trainings starting in June.
