Today’s Monday Activity is a 2-for-1 deal! When the weather gets gloomy and project deadlines near it is easy to get sucked into a negative outlook. This coloring sheet is a great way to introduce your mentee to one point perspectives in art, and to talk to them about a more positive outlook on life. One point perspectives draw the viewer’s eye in a linear fashion to one focal point to giving the appearance of tunnel vision. Much like one point perspectives have the ability to make a viewer forget that they are looking at a flat sheet of paper, negativity can make people forget the wonderful things in their life. If your mentee is seeming particularly blue, you can use this as a way to help them open up. Remind them that even though one area may be bad and what they are focused on, like the sun in this photo, they still have the rest of the picture of their life to focus on.
