One of the things Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. is remembered for is his teachings on the power of forgiveness, so our Monday Activity for today is dedicated to that practice. Genuine forgiveness has been shown to reduce anger, depression, and stress. Instead of holding on to negative thoughts and feeling like a victim, practicing forgiveness releases those feelings and can bring feelings of empowerment, hope, and self-confidence.
