January Mentor of the Month

We are happy to announce Edward Holmes as January's Mentor of the Month! Edward dedicated time to mentoring throughout his illustrious Naval career,
and continues to do so through our Lunch Buddy program at
St. Andrews and Project Shine at West Ashley Middle. Edward's commitment to mentorship is an inspiration to mentors and mentees alike! 

Edward has helped his shy mentee open up, and together are now working on ideas of what his mentee might like to become as he grows up. A favorite mentoring moment of Edward's is the enthusiastic high-five his mentee gave him on only their second meeting. Little connections like these can make a world of differnce in a child's day. 

To Edward, mentoring is sharing experiences and goals that may help youth realize what they are capable of achieving. We are so grateful for Edward and all of our mentors dedicated to inspiring youth in the Lowcountry!
